Erikson Conservation Land Traditional Cache

Purchased by the town of Norton in 2012, this 21-acre parcel is named for its previous owner, Suzanne Erikson, who was known for her love of nature. In July 2014, a small parking area was cleared and a trailhead sign was added.

Most of the quarter-mile walk to the cache follows a wide, pleasant, fern-lined trail.

 

There is some light bushwhacking towards the end when the trail basically comes to an end.  The area features a couple of small buildings and some old farm equipment, as the land was actively farmed until 1967.  Cache includes a set of unactivated dog tags for FTF.  Enjoy!!
