Man har länge ställt sig frågan om vem som uppfann pasta. Kommer den från Italien? Eller är det ett arabiskt påfund, som de har hävdat? Även från Kina vill man ta till sig äran för denna maträtt.

De senaste fynden visar på att Kineserna kan ha rätt! En arkeolog har i nordvästra Kina hittat en skål med krusig spaghetti som är daterad att vara 4000 år gammal och det är därmed det äldsta fyndet av vad som skulle kunna vara ursprunget till dagens pasta.

The latest finds shows that the Chineese might be the winners! An archaeologist has found a bowl of spaghetti that is dated to be 4,000 years old in the northwest of China.
That´s the oldest known find of what could be the origin of todays pasta.
