CAW #3 Traditional Cache

This cache is part of the Contemplation and Worship (CAW) Series.

This series of caches is about the religious sites found on the Mangrove Mountain Plateau. These places demonstrate some of the various ethnic backgrounds of this small local community and emphasise the importance of established religion and the spirituality of these groups.

Across the road from this location is a block of land which is the proposed site for an agricultural high school. Although the local farmers and many members of the local community were against this development for many environmental, social and economic reasons, the Land and Environment Court has agreed that the development may go ahead. The property belongs to an Islamic Group. At no stage were oppositions based on religious grounds but solely on the poor use of prime agricultural land as well as concerns for the safety of students in case of bush fire.

The cache is a small one. You will need your own writing implement as well as an extraction tool.
