CAW #4 Traditional Cache

This cache is part of the Contemplation and Worship (CAW) Series.

This series of caches is about the religious sites found on the Mangrove Mountain Plateau. These places demonstrate some of the various ethnic backgrounds of this small local community and emphasise the importance of established religion and the spirituality of these groups.

This cache is located at the Holy Monastery of the Mother of God ‘PANTANASSA’ monastery for men. The current monastic dwelling is located on the side of Mangrove Mountain below a 200 metre cliff edge. It is surrounded by virgin forest overlooking a Dubbo Gully and Mangrove Creek.

The cache is hidden near the entry to the monastry grounds. It is not possible to see the buildings from the road. Please bring your own writing implement.
