CAW #9 Traditional Cache

This cache is part of the Contemplation and Worship (CAW) Series.

This series of caches is about the religious sites found on the Mangrove Mountain Plateau. These places demonstrate some of the various ethnic backgrounds of this small local community and emphasise the importance of established religion and the spirituality of these groups.

The Divine Retreat Centre, Somersby is one of the many branches of Vincentian Retreat Centres across the globe. It is part of the renewal movement of the Vincentian Congregation in India.

The Centre was inaugurated on the 7^th of April, 2013 and the Vincentian house was erected in a lovely picturesque setting, far from crowds and the noises of the city. It is set in the midst of 20 acres of greenery.

In 2017 the Centre was renamed St Francis of Assisi Centre, Diocese of Broken Bay.

The cache is found close by and should be an easy find. Bring your own writing implement.
