CAW #11 Traditional Cache

This cache is part of the Contemplation and Worship (CAW) Series.

This series of caches is about the religious sites found on the Mangrove Mountain Plateau. These places demonstrate some of the various ethnic backgrounds of this small local community and emphasise the importance of established religion and the spirituality of these groups.

The Mangrove Mountain area is home to many people whose origins are in Greece. This centre, St Dionysios, was built with money from these hard-working European migrants.

During December 2019 a massive clearing operation was undertaken to protect the property from the "unprecedented" mega bush fires in the local area. This cache is a replacement for the one that disappeared during the clear-up.

Be careful getting this cache if it has been raining. You might get your feet wet. Bring your own writing implement. Look for the cache about 10 metres from the access path.
