
The cache brings you to the memorial of the First Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-haj, who was also a Boy Scout in his teenage years. The memorial was established to commemorate his deeds as the Father of Independence and as the First Prime Minister of Malaysia from 1957 to 1970. The memorial was the official residence of the British Resident of Malaya and was made as the official residence of Tunku Abdul Rahman from 1957 to 1971. The building is more than 100 years old and is maintained at its original state. The memorial houses all legacies related to Tunku Abdul Rahman such as documents, pictures, gifts, newspaper cuttings, clothes and furnitures. There are also audio-visual films shown about Tunku Abdul Rahman.
The cache is a small medicine bottle which contains only a logbook and tiny pencil (no space for TBs or GCs).
Note:
1) The cache is located about 500m north of the Bank Negara KTM station.
2) There are security posts nearby the GZ. Stealth is required as they are unaware of the existence of this cache.
3) The memorial is opened on Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5.30pm except for Friday where it will be closed from 12.15pm to 3pm for Muslim's prayer.
