Along the Glenmore Pathway just east of Crowchild Trail is an unassuming pedestrian overpass. That is, by car - when you are driving and unable to pay attention to it. It is a different story if you are travelling by bicycle or walking. This is my favourite pedestrian overpass in the city. This bridge is part of an integrated art piece called "Bridge, Abridged" (2007) by Artist Adam Kuby. "Woven into the bridge and adjacent walls, words and shapes bring to life the science and art the art of engineering."
Once you locate the cache, I invite you to take some time to walk to the other side and take a look at the bridge and sound barrier wall. There is a plaque with additional details about the bridge on the south side of Glenmore.
Note: Neighbour came out to ask what I was up to, and mentioned they have seen some sketchy activity in the area. I explained about the cache, and where it was located - they said it explained some of the odd behaviour they've seen in that area, but there seems to be other sketchy behaviour at times. SO if they step out and ask what you're up to, please be polite and just let them know you are caching. They are familiar with geocaching, so you won't need to explain much more than that.
