TAMFS - Merkel Traditional Geocache

This is one in a series of geocaches placed by Texas A&M Forest Service to showcase various aspects of the agency and properties it manages. This is located at the Merkel Office.

This office serves as a hub for Texas A&M Forest Service West Texas Operations, especially during intense fire seasons like in 2011. This facility can be used as a staging ground or an operational headquarters as needed.
