LPYankeeFan will be turning 45 on August 9th. He informed several cachers that he will be putting out 45 caches for others to find so I told him that myself and several other friends will put out (at least) 45 caches for him to find.
If you have ever discussed birthdays with him, you know that the Manson murders happened the day that he was born. It is also the date that Ford became President of the United States after Nixon resigned. Ask, LP, he probably has a few more for you.
All of the caches that I put out will be out for at least six months but no later than a year. Please read the cache page fully. Some will have limited hours of searching. Some will require tools. Have fun and be safe.
I grew up in this area and would come to the park on a weekly, if not daily basis. It was within biking and walking distance. Most of the park is as it was in the 80's when I would hang around here. The cache is off of a hiking path that used to end at the nearby entrance/exit. But most of it is in the shade so it would be a great place for some exercise.
