Geocache Description:

A "Meet and Greet" for geocachers of all ages and experience levels!

Guy Fawkes and The Gunpowder Plot

On November 5th 1605, Guy Fawkes failed in his attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament.
To commemorate this, some folks set off fireworks and light bonfires with Guy Fawkes in effigy on top.
(Civilized, don't you think?)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunpowder_Plot
This COG event has no bonfire, no fireworks, no gunpowder, a bit of treason and a very weak plot.

"Remember, remember, the 5th of November
The Gunpowder Treason and plot;
I know of no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot!" --- Anonymous

Maritime Mega MonctonM3 Travel Bug Race

On August 1st 2015 the fine folks at Cache Up NB are hosting a Mega Event (M3 - Maritime Mega Moncton) in Moncton, New Brunswick. There is a very informative webpage that lets you know the nitty gritty details for the Travel Bug Race; needless to say... you can bring your activated-but-with-zero mileage trackables to this COG event -- and we'll ship them out to Moncton in time for the December 1st deadline. For information on the actual Travel Bug Race (and notes about what they'd like you to include on the trackable page) you can visit the TB Race info page here.

Reviewer Q&A

Winter (yeah, you read that right) is fast approaching. It's the time of year where many people bundle themselves up on the couch, sip hot chocolate and go through every single page of the Geocaching.com Listing Guidelines and Support pages, just for fun.

Other people reach out to a Reviewer - and they ask them questions about caching concepts, the Listing Guidelines and other geocaching related topics. At this particular COG event, there should be (hopefully!) at least one Volunteer Reviewer in attendance who would be happy to give you their insight on as many things as they are able. It might be a one-on-one interaction if the background noise is too great. We'll play it by ear. Write down your question ahead of time if it's easier.

Venue

The event will be held at Colonel Mustard's between 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday November 5th.

We do have seating for approximately 40 people.
If we run out of seats you are welcome to simply drop by and say "Hi" to Attend.

2015

There may be some talk regarding a COG project for 2015...
