This would have been the next exit that my daughter went by on her way to my brother's place in Des Moines. She was in a car accident in July of 2005. She and her passenger were killed instantly. This one and it's accompanying cache on the New Virginia (the next exit) are placed here in her memory.

She was a beautiful woman just shy of her 18th birthday and had a full ride to UNM (go Lobos) for her wonderful talent of playing the Oboe.
