Suwannee River Near Hart Springs Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Obilon: Well, if 4 people with some experience can't find a cap in a fork in the tree, then it's gone missing. Since more GCs are coming online soon, I need to "thin the herd" to keep up with proper maintenance.
Thank you to the few of you adventurous souls who came to visit during the past 4-1/2 years.

Geocache Description:

When the flooding got the one near this location, I replaced it with one in a safer place nearby, then sent the CO a note.  He was not able to act on the information fast enough, so the old one was archived.  "Well", said I to myself, "I went to the trouble to be helpful, and the container is there, so why not keep the legacy living on?"

The old cache location was just beyond the new fence.  There is no need to go there.

You are looking for a container in a "safe" location, closer to the road, and higher than flood level.

Aren't the trees beautiful here?
