Not every geocache is hidden at the base of a tree... There are many types of geocaches, but my favourites are the adventurous ones that give you a challenge to overcome or take you to amazing places.
In my quest to find geocaches I have explored abandoned mine shafts and climbed to the snowy summits of alpine mountains. Kayaking through undergound waterways was nothing compared to trudging through slimey black swamps up to my armpits! While in search of an isolated cache in New Zealand I even needed to be evacuated from an avalanche zone via helicopter! ..Yet I still scream like a little girl everytime I see those evil plastic spiders!
In the pursuit of the next "smiley" 
I was once so motivated to get a cache that I swam through shark inhabited waters.. in the dark!
