This cache is located in the back training area of Fort Lewis next to a creek. The creek is partly frozen in winter and completely dry in the summer, but you need not cross the creek to get the cache. My wife and I take our dogs out in this area all the time to hike around. This is a small tube-shaped cache, no room for items. It's a little above eye-level.
