Geocache Description:

Follow the King Alfred Trail along the river bank from The Scotchel and you will find the Pewsey Heritage Centre Museum.

The Heritage Centre is in what was once the old Whatleys foundrey and houses a collection of artefacts relating to the social, economic, agricultural and of course industrial aspects of life in the Vale of Pewsey from the last 150 years. The Centre is a place where senior citizens can scoff 'I don't know why this is in here - we use ours every day', and the youngsters can say 'What did they use these old things for?'.

The cache is placed with the knowledge of the trustees of the museum. There are homes nearby so be careful not to be seen when searching.

The cache is magnetic and has been placed up high so you may need a tall member of the team to reach it - sorry!
