This is a quick cache and dash at the beautiful location of barn lake point.
It can get muddy when wet, so suitable footwear is recommended. This cache is just off the Sustrans cycle path, so you don't have to drive.
Parking is available at Barn Lake Point, as shown on the Waypoint.
Barn Lake point was the former location of an ice factory and some of the foundations can still be seen.
Lovely views of Neyland and the haven can be seen if you follow the path on from the cache towards the bridge.
You are looking for a nano cache, so you will need to bring a pin/tweezers to retrieve the log and a pen to sign it.
