A little event out on the Hamble for those of a nautical disposition. I'm rather busy all of August but am free on this Bank Holiday, so why not have an event out on the water and hopefully enjoy a bit of a splash around - and perhaps help some people pick up a souvenir for the month in a slightly different way.
The event will be held between 11:30am and 12:30pm at, or close to, the published coords. High tide around midday. Parking is available at the waypoint but it can get busy, or you can park for free at Bursledon Station (or perhaps the nearby roads).
The event is open to all - a boat/kayak would be your best bet but you can swim, doggy-paddle, float out on a lilo, whatever suits you (just make sure you're safe on the water).
I do have a spare kayak (will take an adult and a child, or 2 adults if you don't mind being rather friendly with each other) but it'll be first come first served. There is also a spare seat in my kayak
