I put together this trail to celebrate birthdays. This one is dedicated to DougyB. Happy 50th Birthday my friend! No worries. I won't tell anyone
. May it be a caching kind of a day filled with lots of friends, laughter, smiley's and perhaps a groan or two.
Oh and don't think I'm making this easy on you Doug. I will tell you though that the cache is in plain sight. That's about as much as you're getting. Will provide a better hint for the rest of the cachers after Mr. DougyB finds this. Will adjust that, and the rating depending on the logs received.
If you're ever in the Brampton area be sure to do some of DougyB's caches. They are well thought out and maintained. It's always a pleasure to do them!
Please do not post pics of the cache. They will be removed.
You will need to wear wellies in the warmer months. I was there in the summer a number of times. A couple of times the creek was bone dry and other times it was about 6" deep.
Suggest parking on Loonlake Ave. The trail can be accessed in both directions from there. Do NOT park on Terry Fox Way as it is quite a busy road.
An elderly couple, had just learned how to send text messages on their mobile phones. One afternoon the husband went out geocaching. He was the outdoor, romantic type and wifey was a world traveller who enjoyed her quiet time. Ah hah! He's out. I can create some sparkly things now she said to herself.
He missed the Princess and decided to send her a romantic text message. With an adoring look on his face, he wrote:
"If you are sleeping, send me your dreams.
If you are laughing, send me your smile.
If you are eating, send me a bite.
If you are drinking, send me a sip.
If you are crying, send me your tears.
I love you."
Princess texted back:
"I'm on the toilet.....Please advise."
