Brevbärare Jonas Peter Falk brukade torpet under 1800-talets mitt och därav namnet, Falkalyckan.
Vid 68 års ålder, 1860, emigrerade Jonas och hans två döttrar, 8 och 11år, till USA.
Jonas flyttade i USA in hos sin dotter från hans första äktenskap och levde där till han blev 88 år.
Jonas tyckte om att röka sin pipa, men han avundades indianerna när de visade honom sina små tobaksland.
Omsider gav en vänlig indian honom några tobaksplantor och visade hur de skulle planteras.
Det dröjde sedan inte länge förrän Jonas skördade sin tobak från eget tobaksland.
”Å dä ble te lite snus mä”, skröt han.
Han plockade de finaste bladen, torkade dem väl och malde dem otaliga gånger på sin gamla kaffekvarn.
Torpet är helt utplånat då Jonas med familj antagligen var den siste boende på stället.
