This is the first geocache placement for me in Oregon, and it is just outside my property. I found this spot a couple of years ago when I was new to the area, and I was lured here by a Mrs RTreever cache that was nearby. I actually took pictures of the gorgeous pasture to the north of the geocache and commented on how beautiful it was. I uploaded the pics to the gallery of the cache that Mrs RTreever so graciously gave up so I could place this cache.
Who would have thought that within the year I would be the owner of such breathtaking property!?! It is truly a gift, and I hope you appreciate the beauty of the area. We have a small band of elk that frequently visits the pasture as well as numerous deer. The north end of the pasture is home to a beautiful bobcat that we have captured on our trail camera several times.
If you see any two-legged creatures in the pasture north of this cache, please feel free to wave us over. We would love to meet you!
You are looking for a large container that started out with several TBs and coins that I activated specifically for the birth of this cache. I also put some swag in for the kids. You do not have to go behind any gates to find this cache. When I placed the cache I averaged over one hundred times, and the machine said it was within 5 feet. I walked back and forth on the road a few times, and it was close each time.
