East Texas Geocachers Get Together

I was talking to my buddy, Tub Lake today about the 7 Souvenirs of August and we were trying to figure out where we could go to a event and a CITO. Not much luck finding one close, so we decided to have our own and would love for you to join us.

Everyone is invited ~ new cachers, too!
This should be a great opportunity to meet and greet a lot a cachers in the area. If you would like to attend, come on and join us, it makes no difference how far away you live. Let's get together and have some fun.

 We will (CITO), meet 'n greet, eat lunch, and swap stories. There will be a CITO event scheduled from 9:00-11:30, so please attend that also.

Attend this event and the CITO event and qualify for Geocaching.com's "Socializer Souvenir" and "Nature Lover Souvenir". two of their 7 special souvenirs for August 2014!!

Bring your trackables for discovery and/or trade.

When is it:      August 23rd, 2014  ~~  Saturday

Time: 11:30 AM-3PM

Hot dogs will be provided, with buns and mustard for up to 40 people, You will need to provide your own drinks. There is a no alchohol policy in this park. If more than 40 people respond I would appreciate if they would kick in a few dollars to cover costs. If you would like to bring any other fixings, chips, etc., please provide a description of what you are bringing when you log that you will attend.
