Geocache Description:

East Texas Geocachers CITO In The Park

Come out and join us for this CITO event in Chambers Park in Lufkin, TX. This is a great opportunity to show how Geocachers take care of the places we go to and look for caches. When I contacted the Parks and Recreation Department, they were very happy to hear that a group of people wanted to help them take care of a local park.

Even better, you can use this opportunity to earn your Nature Lover souvenir as part of the 7 Souvenirs of August.

This will also be a time to meet other cachers from the area and visit with them while you are cleaning up.

We will meet at Pavilion #1 in Chambers Park at 9:00 AM. We will try and be finished by 11:30, so we can enjoy some food and great fellowship.

Don't miss this opportunity to earn your souvenir close to home.

(Please bring a few trash bags with you. I would recommend gloves and something to pick up trash with)
