Geocache Description:

April 2019 - My most sincere gratitude to CCSGA for replacing the container and contents. Also for sending me the old log book. I can't thank him enough!

On the North shore toward the West end of the Wish Rock Garden area of the island.

The Wish Rock Garden is an area nearly a mile long along the North Shore. People have for years made small stacks of rocks that are meant to protect this island from storms and other evils. There are probably hundreds of thousands of stacks of rocks along the road.

The location will require that you have some form of transportation. The tours go by here but don't stop long enough for you to find this cache. I rated it difficult because you will need a vehicle and the site itself is so full of rocks that you will probably have to search pretty hard to find it.

Initially I placed several Aruban souveniers in the cache that includes postcards, 2 key rings, 1 bottle opener, a log book & pen, and The Stamp Collector Travel Bug.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[No hiding this hint- This is hard enough as it is. You will have to rely heavily on your GPS. The cache is under a large boulder South of the road and up the hill. There are some spent rifle shells in front of the boulder. I have included a photo that shows the area. I was sitting on the boulder when I took the photo. A good starting point is the California Lighthouse. Stay out of the sand but take the dirt road to the east along the coast.]
