You are looking for a 35mm film canister type cache.
At the point where Victoria Road in Dukinfield meets Dukinfield Road in Hyde, and Junction Road which creates the Border between the two, lies a rather nice tree encircled triangular croft. You need to enter here to find the cache.
Opposite the Cache is The Village Hotel, Hyde, but the site historically used to be a Cotton Mill – Newton Wood Mill c1875. Victoria Mill and Edgecombe Villa’s were also nearby at this time.
It a fairly easy cache to get to, and a lovely spot to sit and contemplate. In a circular enclosure of trees (there are numerous obvious wide gaps between them) it is a unique oasis just off the beaten track of day to day life.
