Geocache Description:

Another Single Capital Letter for a series of caches I have been putting out.  This time we have the Capital "O" and you are looking for a regular cache along a ridge line with great views of both Ogden and Snowbasin.

Congrats go out to UsLaynes on FTF. I hope you enjoyed the area. One of my favorite spots.

O” why “O” why did I have to put this one way up on high.  There was no other place in my mind to put the Big O other than right next to Mt. Ogden.  The great adventure in this cache would be how to get here.  Even the easy way by Gondola is a pleasant little hike up.  The views up here are probably the best around.  Obviously I am very bias about this one since I spend my winters playing on and working on the mountain.  There are many trails you could take to get here, but one of my favorite would probably be Beus Canyon Trail.

The series of a Single Capital Letters of the Alphabet was started by my friend MarshallOD. He started putting out the letters along a ridge in Uintah after the placement of my Cache "What's above the U". He would put a couple letters out and I would play leap frog and put a letter out, he of course would always match until we topped out at the "Z". We had talked about a series of Letter to complete the Alphabet. I talked and of course Marshall followed through and started placing letters here and there. MarshallOD had an opportunity to go back to California and he jumped on it, leaving this series in limbo. Until recently a "Nessmuk" came out from hiding and put a "T" across from alphabet ridge.

Most of these caches have been adopted and are still in play Thanks to rocketsciguy family, railroader921, ultimaterockhound, and Nessmuk. I plan on finishing this series and of course a Challenge at the end of the series. The trick to most of these caches are you have to get there. Most of them will take on a long hike or a remote area, but I can Guarantee there will be adventure in them. Enjoy!!!!!!
