This is going to be a fast Meet & Greet on the last day of August for those who have yet to obtain "The Socializer" Souvenir for the 7 Souveniers of August, though if you have already achieved it, you are still welcome!
Most of the 7 Souvenirs of August are easy enough to obtain. Find a traditional... Find a multi... an Earthcache... a virtual... These caches are spread out all over our great state. The event cache is a little more elusive. There aren't many event caches published throughout our area, but if one wants to earn all the souvenirs for August, one must attend an event. Sometimes, a geocacher can't attend the few events being held for one reason or another: Too far away, previous plans, or, as is my case a lot of times, they have to work

This event is being held on the last day of August to give area cachers ONE LAST CHANCE to log an event cache for "The Socializer" souvenir. The official event start time is 3pm, and the offical end time is 3:30pm, though nobody has to leave if they are having a good time. There will be no food served, no rest areas readily available, and no seating exists (I may have a lawn chair or two). There are plenty of shade trees to sit under, and you can sign the log and leave if you want, or you can stay and talk awhile. If you have some Travel Bugs or Geocoins that need to be moved along, feel free to drop them off for other cachers.
