Beda Hallberg har tidigare hedrats med en cach i närheten men den är nu arkiverad. Jag tycker att denna plats och framförallt Beda är värd att hedras och därför lägger jag här upp en ny men på annan plats.
Beda Hallberg har vi att hedra för idén till Majblomman. Tack till alla skolbarn som årligen engagerar sig i försäljningen.
Beda var verksam inom Göteborgs frivilliga fattigvård under slutet av 1800-talet och vid 1900-talets början. Hon drevs av ett mycket starkt socialt engagemang och hon värnade särskilt om barn och ungdomar. Beda Hallberg (1869-1945) föddes här på Presse gård som ligger ca 100m från cachen på andra sidan vägen in mot Kungsbacka. På platsen finns en fin sevärd staty. Gå gärna bort och titta men respektera familjen som bor på gården.
Presse har gett namn åt en stadsdel en bit längre ut på Onsala-vägen, och Beda själv har fått äran att få ett äldreboende uppkallat efter sig några hundra meter härifrån. Där finns även en cach att besöka med lite mer intressant läsning. Beda har även fått en spårvagn i Göteborg (nr 301) uppkallad efter sig. Jag vill även lyfta fram Beata-Torpet från 1884 som ligger på samma sida vägen som cachen in mot Kungsbacka.

Beda Hallberg has previously been honored with a cach nearby but it is now archived. I think this place and especially Beda host to be honored and therefore I put this up a new one but in another place.
Beda Hallberg, we have to honor the idea to the Swedish "Mayflower". Thanks to all schoolchildren annually engages in the sale.
Beda was involved in Göteborg voluntary poor relief during the late 1800s and the early 1900s. She was driven by a very strong social commitment and She warned specifically about children and young people. Beda Hallberg (1869-1945) was born here on Presse farm located about 100m from the cache on the road towards Kungsbacka. On the site there is a nice attractive statue. Please go there and watch it but respect the family living on the farm.
Presse has given its name to a neighborhood a bit further out on the Onsala-road, and Beda himself has been honored to receive a retirement home named after her a few hundred meters away. There is also an cach to visit with some more interesting reading. Beda has also received a tram in Gothenburg (No. 301) named after her. I also want to highlight The Beata-Croft from 1884 which is on the same side of the road as the cache towards Kungsbacka.
