This is a rural cache located not far from downtown Stafford Springs along the Woodlawn Trail.
You will find plenty of parking available at the beginning of the trail. The trailhead is clearly marked with an informational sign describing the historical significance of this area. Follow the well marked blue blazed trail from the parking area.
The cache can be found at the top of the main trail before you head out on the loop trail, but I recommend that after finding this cache, you continue on and enjoy all that the trail provides.
You are looking for a small lock-n-lock box. No need to disturb the rock wall. There is room for coins and small TB’s. Bring your own pen.
