La galleria di mina di Verceia fu realizzata tra il 1916 e il 1917 nell'ambito delle opere di difesa strategiche della I Guerra Mondiale con il compito di chiudere il passaggio ad una eventuale invasione da Nord bloccando sia la galleria stradale che quella ferroviaria.
Si tratta di un complesso costituito da un cunicolo principale e alcune diramazioni per un totale di circa 200 metri di gallerie in roccia.
Di solito è visitabile a Pasqua, Pasquetta, il 25 aprile, il 1° maggio, il 2 giugno, il 15 agosto. Ad agosto è visitabile anche tutte le domeniche.
The mine tunnel of Verceia was built between 1916 and 1917 as part of the works of the strategic defense of the First World War with the task of closing the passage to a possible invasion from the North by blocking both the road and train tunnel.
It is a complex consisting of a main tunnel and some branches for a total of about 200 meters of tunnels in rock.
Usually it can be visited at Easter, April 25, May 1, June 2, Aug. 15.
