Geocache Description:

Another Single Capital Letter for a series of caches I have been putting out.  This time we have the Capital "M" and you are looking for a small cache along a cliff area in a lonely pine.

M stands for the Many decisions that had to be made trying to get to here.  The Many rocks that we stumbled around on to make it here and much much more.  The main reason for my   ”M” would have to be a cache in the middle of Mt. Ogden and Malan Basin.  I have always wondered if there was a good trail between the two.  I convinced Yanko and Nessmuk to help me discover a way.  The trail on the map takes you to the south of here and along a ridge line, but we never found that trail.  A dried up creek bed from the saddle below Mt. Ogden is where we started this meticulous maneuvering march.  The creek bed soon turned into a trail which then turned back to a creek.  That is pretty much the story until you hit the main trail.  The hike however is quite enjoyable.  There are many reasons to maintain a constant surveying of your surroundings.  Mostly because of the snakes that seemed to be out and enjoying the day.  This being my main reason for keeping this one off the ground and in a pine.  Please do not look under rocks or dig around any open areas, it is in the tree.

The series of a Single Capital Letters of the Alphabet was started by my friend MarshallOD. He started putting out the letters along a ridge in Uintah after the placement of my Cache "What's above the U". He would put a couple letters out and I would play leap frog and put a letter out, he of course would always match until we topped out at the "Z". We had talked about a series of Letters to complete the Alphabet. I talked and of course MarshallOD followed through and started placing letters here and there. MarshallOD had an opportunity to go back to California and he jumped on it, leaving this series in limbo. Until recently a "Nessmuk" came out from hiding and put a "T" across from alphabet ridge.

Most of these caches have been adopted and are still in play Thanks to rocketsciguy family, railroader921, ultimaterockhound, and Nessmuk. I plan on finishing this series and of course a Challenge at the end of the series. The trick to most of these caches, you have to get there. Most of them will take on a long hike or a remote area, but I can Guarantee there will be adventure in all of them. Enjoy!!!!!!
