Geocache Description:

A CITO Event in Portsmouth to help the Portsmouth City Council Countryside Team clear the Langstone Harbour Waterside Walk.

Sunday 28th September 2014 10.00am to 12 noon.

Come along to join in the good company of other geocachers as well as helping the environment.  

 

The Countryside Service of Portsmouth City Council have kindly agreed to allow geocachers to help clear a stretch of the Langstone Harbour Waterside Walk which runs down the eastern side of Portsea Island. Please arrive shortly before 10am so that a health & safety briefing can be given as well as litter pickers and bags given out. You may wish to bring food and drink although there is a pub/restaurant nearby as well as another near the golf course. Parking is available near the co-ordinates but you can also access the location by foot or bike. There are a number of geocaches in the area that you may also want to attempt before or after the CITO. Enjoy the day and help improve the environment.
