Riverpark 4 Land of the Silverbirch Traditional Cache

A series of family friendly caches around Port Sunlight River Park placed with permission of the Land Trust. A lovely circular walk of this greenspace which promotes biodiversity and was previously a land fill site.

Head to the cache by passing a silverbirch tree. You are looking for a black turtle box container which has a range of swag inside.

Named after an old song which I used to sing in Brownies and Guides - "Land of the silver birch, home of the beaver, where still the mighty moose wanders at will, blue lake and rocky shore, I will return once more...."  I have no idea what it had to do with Guiding in the UK but it sounded great sung quietly in two parts, 30 years later I still know the lyrics.
