Geocache Description:

Route R374: Spider series no. 15

Jumping  Spider:

Family:  Salticidae.

Average body length: 4-17 mm.

Identification:  A cute spider. Usually black and white or grey and white. Can be brown and white at times. Often hairy with a flat face appearance. Males are more colourful than females.

Habitat: Just about everywhere. Often on dry leaves and wood. On the walls and ceilings of buildings.

Customs: It is active during daylight. Has excellent sight when hunting. It chases it's prey and jumps on it. Some species act as ants. It attaches itself to a strand of silk before jumping on it's prey. It will hide in cracks during the dark. It is interesting to note that the spider jumps using hydraulic pressure and not by pushing it's legs.

Venom: Harmless to humans.

Web: Does not build a web.

Food:  Insects.

Reproduction: The male sends signals to the female by making semaphore movements with it's front legs.

The cache:

The cache is a small loc-to-loc container. Space for small SWAG. It might be possible that a spider, scorpion or even a snake could be hiding in the cache location. Be careful and supervise children if they are around.

The cache is not hidden at the given coordinates. You will need to solve the puzzle below. The grid of the puzzle should be filled with numbers from 1 to 6, so that each number appears just once in every row and column. The clues refer to the totals in the squares, for example: A123= 6 means that the numbers in squares A1, A2 and A3 add up to 6.

Note that the original cache location has been destroyed and that the cache is now 8,105 meter at bearing 155,681 degrees from the original solved coordinates.

Good luck.

The final coordinates are:

S25 [C5] [A1+D6].[D2+A3][D3+A2][E2]

E027 [D1][F1-A4].[D6][F3+C4][E5]

Enjoy the cache!
