Campulung's Crosses
If you're passing through Campulung, it's impossible not to see the big stone crosses, with ancestral motifs, guarding almost all roadcrossings, monuments which completes the historical view of the old city.
The former main city of Wallachia is the only city in Romania on which streets were raised and still maintain 37 votive crosses made out of stone and people, even after 400 years, still worship them.
This multi will not show you all the 37 crosses (Thank You, God!), but, I hope, it will make you see the old city from a different point of view.

Dacă treci prin Câmpulung, nu poti să nu remarci crucile mari de piatră, cu motive ancestrale, ce străjuiesc cam toate intesecțiile orașului, monumente care completează parcă, întregindu-l, aerul istoric al bătrânei urbe. Fosta capitală a Tării Românești este singurul oraș din România pe ale carui străzi au fost ridicate și înca se păstrează 37 de cruci votive din piatră la care, de mai bine de 400 de ani, oamenii se închină și-n care-și pun speranțele .
Acest multi nu-ti va arata toate cele 37 de cruci (Multumesc, Doamne!), dar, sper, ca te va face sa vezi batranul oras cu alti och.
