Geocache Description:

Letterboxing is another form of treasure hunting that uses clues instead of coordinates. In some cases, the letterbox owner has made their container both a letterbox and a geocache and posted its coordinates on Geocaching.com. The stamp and stamp pad inside the Letterbox Hybrid are not items intended for trade. The stamp and pad are meant to remain in the box so that visitors can use them to record their visit.

Enter the park off Wildcat Rd. We have included two waypoints for parking. If parking at N34 32.390, W093 05.322 you will walk across the boardwalk and find the blue trail just under the boardwalk.  It isn't marked at this point but easy to spot. If parking at N34 32.341, W093 05.255 you will find bathrooms nearby and a playground.

This is done in the traditional letterbox way. Once you are at the posted coordinates you should see a 10 on the blue bike trail marker.  From this marker you will need to walk east 20 paces on the blue bike trail, then turn south 12 paces down the incline to the tree with five fingers. Look under the tin lid for a lock and lock container.

The container is a large size lock n lock. It contains a stamp, stamp pad and stamping book along with a log sheet. The park is very large and is home to several caches. Please review the trail map as it is very easy to get turned around while hiking the trails. There are several other caches in the park so bring the family and enjoy your day.
