Geocache Description:

The cemetery is on the north side of the road----across the road from GZ, several feet behind the "NO  TRESPASSING" sign.  If you're there during the daylight...you can see the grave markers. The cemetery is on PRIVATE PROPERTY......PLEASE do not trespass!!!

The cemetery was located on the east side of 160 acres of the Sherman farm. The property was purchased by John B.Sherman on May 10, 1879.

The first grave to establish the family cemetery was Paul Sherman, May 12, 1885. The last person to be buried there is Gary Lee Hill, son of Edith (Sherman) Hill.

Gary was Kansas' first heart transplant patient, with the transplant taking place at St Joseph hospital in 1989. Gary died in April 1994 due to cancer, not his heart.

Good luck and enjoy all your caching journeys!
