After introducing "Checkers" (a 10 year old girl we are taking care of this summer) to geocaching and taking her to find quite a few caches throughout the summer, she thought it would be fun to hide one of her own. We looked on the map around her house for a spot to hide one. She named and picked out all the things involving the cache herself, we just took her to the store and helped find an unclaimed location. She will be checking on the cache from time to time to see what is inside and who has found it. There is a TB she found earlier in the summer for the FTF to take and move along. If you bring the kids there is a playground right by the cache so come play and find Checkers' first hide. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood.
