Bara Ödekyrka
Denna kyrka byggdes av kalksten i mitten av 1200-talet och var fungerande som församlingskyrka till mitten av 1500-talet då den började förfalla. Då man inte lyckades hålla kyrkan i användbart skick slogs församlingen ihop med Hörsne församling. Ruinen konserverades 1923 på bekostnad av Harald Laurin. När man kommer till platsen ser man att man håller efter området och det kan nog delvis bero på att kyrkogården fortfarande används som begravningsplats.
Varpaklubb
Bredvid ödekyrkan finns varpaklubbens hus och man har en äng bredvid där man övar. På den finns en gammal boule bana som idag är överväxt och inte används längre. När den var ny och skulle invigas inbjöd man Prins Bertil, som var en passionerad boule spelare, men han kunde inte närvara.
Det finns picnic-bord i närheten av ödekyrkan så man kan passa på att fika när man är på besök i området.
Det går att nå cachen med rullstol, men hjälp behövs för att ta den.
I cachen finns loggremsa, penna och bytessaker.
In English – Bara Desolated Church
This church was build of lime stone in the middle of the 13th century, and served as a parish church until the midst of 16th centry when it started to decay. Since they failed to keep the church in a usable condition the parish merged with Hörsne parish. The ruins were preserved, and the work was paid by Harald Laurin. When you come to this place you will see that the area is kept in a good condition, and it could partly depend on the fact that the grave yard is still used as a burial.
Varpa Club
Next to the desolated church the Varpa Club has their house and a meadow where they practice. On this meadow you can see an old boules court that is overgrown and are not in use today. When it was new and was to be inaugurated they invited Prince Bertil, a passionated boules player, but he could not attend.
Nearby the church there are picnic table, for a coffee break when you visit the area.
It is possible to reach the cache with a wheelchair, but help is needed to take the cache.
The original cache contents are the log, a pencil, and some exchangeable items.
