Jagged Ansteys Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

d'businspektor: Maintenance check today revealed the cache is missing for the second time. Not found in any other nearby hiding spots where it could have been moved to. So unfortunately d'businspektor has achived the cache. Am thinking about a better place and better name. regards, d'businspektor.

Geocache Description:

We spotted this interesting place a little while ago and decided it would be a great location for our first cache. On a nice August afternoon we return with GPS in hand, and after a wrong turn or two, we find this area again in Ansteys Hill Recreation Park and cache is placed. If you walk up from near the Hermitage Museum, there is a side track to an old 'silver' mine, but it wasn't silver that was mined.

The cache can be accessed on foot after parking at the perimeter of the Recreation Park, using the network of walking trails in the park. The cache is a camo supalock container. We hope you find the geology here interesting, but take a little care clambering around, especially if it is wet.
