Geocache Description:

A long drive for a smiley, but a smiley you will get. :)

This 'Art form'? was created just after the devastating bushfires that took 2 houses (further up Danes way, Mt Irvine), along with 200+ houses in Mt Victoria, Winmalee, & Yellow Rock in 2013. The Tree at the time was deemed to be dead, and the area was Black! It is amazing to see how well the Australian bush can bounce back, particular this guy!

Congrats PjmPjm & Team Canary on the FTF!

After some tips from FTFers ... To some extent the emphasis is on 'Drive' - it is indeed a 'drive-by' (mapping in this area seems to be out by about 50-100 metres). The cache is easily accessed from 'Danes Way' which is a left and an almost immediate 2nd left off the 'main drag'. If bush-bashed you may indeed have a 'd’oh!' moment, and miss out on seeing the nearby 'bush' cemetery.

Take the nice drive out to Mt Irvine, and after finding this cache continue up the road another 100 Meters and you will find an old cemetery to explore.
