Geocache Description:

While I was here, some cows had escaped and actually walked across the flood gate boards. I chased them back and re-positioned the pallets that were suposed to block them. It was a funny situation. Always be careful around the flood gates.

Part of the Newlands Reclamation Project which is operated by the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District. Amazing how there is water going through the desert all over the place!
