Geocache Description:

In New Orleans, there is a geocaching name that equates to the best in caching! As the Caching King of New Orleans, BAMBOOZLE has created some of the most famous (and favorite) caches in Cajun Country.

BAMBOOZLE AT VIEW CARRE

High atop One Canal Place in downtown New Orleans was the famous cache View Carre '.

BAMBOOZLE created this cache (along with over 400 other caches) and has really made New Orleans a great geocaching destination.

NEW ORLEANS GEOCACHING

Famous for the French Quarter, Cajun Cuisine, the New Orleans Saints, and above-ground cemeteries, New Orleans also offers geocachers a tremendous variety of caching opportunities.

Unusual caches include many virtuals in cemeteries like GCGFHX Marie Laveau, Voodoo Queen (whose tomb attracts individuals seeking her aid, especially in matters of love). The Voodoo Queen photo IMG_20131221_100332_421.jpg

GC2AQHC Bayou St. John is one of BAMBOOZLE's many earthcaches, where you can learn about bayous and the river dynamics of a city that has had serious flooding problems in the past.

I will have to admit, my favorite virtual caches were located in the cemeteries, and here's a peek at some of the tombs and crypts where you can also find nearby caches.

This little cache has been placed to thank BAMBOOZLE for being one of the greatest hosts a geocacher could ever ask for, and to encourage everyone to head for New Orleans and do some awesome geocaching!

This cache is a micro with a log printed on water-proof paper. Please return the cache to its hiding place and use stealth when necessary.

HAPPY CACHING!!
