Titus Adduxas: It’s gone again and I won’t be replacing it.

This was originally going to be part of a circular route starting and finishing in Heddon-on-the-Wall until I found that it didn't really work coming all the way down here. Having already placed it though, I thought it would do just fine as a stand alone cache.
This cache is alongside Route 72 of the National Cycle Network and was part of the Wylam Waggonway running between Wylam and Newburn. You can read all about it on the information board near the cache site. It's a popular route for cyclists and walkers alike and you'll need to watch out for muggles as you look for the cache. It's a green preform and contains a pencil and logbook. There are a number of caches along this route so why not pick up a few of the others on the way. Parking at either Wylam or Newburn it's a very pleasant walk along the north of the River Tyne.
