A sojourn is simply a temporary stay during your travels. Inspired by this idea, we have decided to place caches throughout the Island (and eventually even father) celebrating any interesting location that we might find.
All Aboard is the third of this series. While visiting family in Corner Brook we decided to make a trip to Steady Brook so the kids could have some time play time. Why Steady Brook? At the base of Marble Mountain there is a wonderful all-wooden train and pirate ship that has always attracted the kids. They would stay and play for hours given half a chance, so we thought that during this visit we would give everyone else a chance to see it as well.
The cache itself is now a glass mason jar (wrapped in tape for protection and camouflage) placed somewhere in the surrounding treeline. At the time it was placed, there was a small collection of regular trinkets, pencil, and log book. There is always someone in the area so be sure to watch for muggles. As always, once you find it, make sure that you and your family spend some time enjoying the play sets and all the other attractions (including a zip line and ropes course) in the area. Happy Hunting!
