Geocache Description:

General Foch, war hero, Marshall of France 

General Foch ( no, it's pronounced Fosh) was the Marshall of France, a decorated war hero and lived from 1851 to 1929. I am not sure why they named a street in Leichardt after him. This street also has its own park. Its a large park with some equipment and picnic tables. It is also on the way to the back gate of the RAAF base. To find this cache just sit back in a nice park bench and wait for a C17 Globemaster or a F/A18 Super Hornet to take off and fly over you! This is my 1st hide and I have had problems with co-ordinates. My GPS bounces a lot in some areas.
