Geocache Description:

DISCLAIMER: DO NOT ATTEMPT IF:
- It is dark
- It is raining
- You are uncomfortable around heights and high ledges
- You are not comfortable/experienced with rock scrambles and steep descents
This cache can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS if you are not careful. Do not risk anything if you are not up to it.
I can't begin to describe what was going through my mind when I made the decision to go out and make the scramble down the nose of the bluff lookout... a scramble that dragged me over the railway tunnel, right to the edge of no return...
What I faced on my journey is best summed up by one word: Madness.
This is a traditional cache, the container a regular sized snap-lock container. There's no intended way to reach GZ, more a challenge of direction and judgement, similar to the challenge I faced in getting as far down the hill as I could. The difficulty rating comes not only making the find, but also determining the correct path to reach GZ. Feel free to take breaks - there are a few rock clearings to stop for a drink, and there's no harm in stopping to appreciate the beautiful backdrop that accompanies your descent. There will most likely be a time on this trek where you will need to backtrack to find the right (and safe) line down the cliff face. A good starting point is to follow the trail South-East of the Bluff Lookout and enter the fray from there.
When you reach GZ, or are within 10-15m meters of the cache, you will see a few overhangs, you will need to carefully make your way down. Then, make the climb up into the sandstone cave to sign the log.

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE VERY BACK OF THE CAVE! Although it seems like an awesome spot, the sandstone seemed fragile when I made the hide. I wouldn't want it to break beneath someone (the fall could be fatal), nor do I want this unreal spot ruined. Don't worry - the hide is still nice and evil.

In an area such as this, coordinates can be a tad nasty. I've taken some photos to help:
