Gardur: Cache seems to have vanished. Winter is approaching and unfortunately my wife has a broken leg at the moment,so will reinstate the cache in Spring next year.

Geocache Description:

Small box containing various small objects.


The Kolugjlúfur Gorge,through which flows Viðidalsá,is over one kilometre in length and 40-50 metres in depth. It is named after the female troll Kola whom according to folklore dug the gorge. In the hayfield at Kolugil there is a hill where Kola as well as her treasure is said to be buried.The  hill is protected under Kola's spell.
