The geocache is hidden on an island in Neris river // Lobis pasleptas saloje Neries upeje
Is it a hot summer evening? Maybe a frosty winter afternoon? Or even if it's any other day of the year the island welcomes You!
There are 2 geocaches on this unnamed island. One is on the North part, the other one is on the South.
How to reach the island? Neris is deeper from the Lazdyneliai side. This is a perfect start if you want to swim to the island. You can go wading from the Gariunai side as the depth is up to chest level (check out the waypoints below). Keep in mind that if you swim to the island the current will push you a little bit to the North.
The width of the river varies in some places and can reach 50 m. The island is quite long, so be ready to walk through it. Or, take the South geocache first and you can use the river and go/swim with the flow to reach the North geocache.
