Geocache Description:

The Western Area neighborhood of Los Alamos is criss-crossed with walking paths behind the houses.  This cache is located on one of these.

The paths are public rights of way and can be accessed without crossing private property.  To find this cache, you may park at the end of 43rd St off of Sandia Drive in a crude cul-de-sac.  Look for the paths leading away from 43rd.  This is a small pill container with a log and small pencil.  There are lots of barking dogs to enhance your caching pleasure, thus the name of the cache, "It's Raining Dogs".  In winter, the paths are not plowed and are shadowed, so watch your footing.  During the warmer months, this cache is accessible by wheelchair.
